How often should I get a massage?

Frequency depends on what your goal is in receiving your massage. If you are looking for relief from pain then you will want to get a massage once or twice a week. If you are looking to relieve stress and increase relaxation then you will want to get a massage every three to six weeks. I recommend listening to your body it will let you know when you need a massage.

What is the best way to book a massage with Joe?

Booking your massage by phone is best. If you get my voicemail please leave your name, phone number and the time you would like to book your massage, I will call you back as soon as possible.

What is your cancellation policy?

I understand that life happens. We all have emergencies that come up.  Whenever possible please cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment.  If you do not show up for your appointment, payment in full will be expected.

What if I am late to my appointment?

If you are late to your appointment I will only be able to provide your full time if I do not have another appointment following yours.

Do you accept tips?

I do accept tips, and they are appreciated but they are not expected or required.

What types or lotion or oil do you use?

I use Biotone Advanced Therapy lotion. If there is a special lotion or oil you would like me to use please bring it to your appointment.   It is your massage and you should have what you want

Is it OK to talk during my massage?

Yes, it is especially important to let me know if you are cold, or how the pressure is during your massage. Social talking is also fine. Talking is one way people release stress, please be assured what you say is confidential.

Do you do trades?

Yes, I am open to doing trades with other service providers. Call me and we can see what we can work out.

Do you accept health insurance?

I do not accept any health insurance plans at this time.

Do you have gift certificates?

Yes, gift certificates are available in 1 hour, 1.5 hours and 2 hours increments.  I also offer package rates on gift certificates.

What types of payment do you accept?

I accept cash, personal checks or credit cards in person.  You can pay by credit card on the website through Paypal.
