Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is the most commonly practiced technique of massage. It includes the use of firm but gentle pressure and long, fluid strokes to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension, improve circulation.

Myofascial Release & Unwinding

Myofascial Release & Unwinding is a form of soft tissue massage therapy intended for pain relief, increasing range of motion and balancing the body. This effective hands-on technique provides sustained pressure into the connective tissue(fascia) causing the stretching and release of restrictions eliminating pain and restoring motion.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage focuses on the muscles located below the surface of the top muscles. Deep tissue massage is often recommended for individuals who experience consistent pain, are involved in heavy physical activity, such as athletes, and patients who have sustained physical injury. It is also not uncommon for receivers of Deep Tissue Massage to have their pain replaced with a new muscle ache for a day or two. Deep tissue work varies greatly. What one calls deep tissue another will call light. When receiving deep tissue work it is important to communicate what you are feeling.

Pregnancy & Postpartum Massage

Pregnancy & Postpartum Massage has been found to reduce stress, decrease swelling in the arms and legs, and relieve aches and pains in muscles and joints. It’s a popular complementary therapy during pregnancy for back pain, when choices for pain relief, such as medication, are often limited. Not only can pregnancy massage be physically beneficial, but the human touch can be comforting and provide emotional support.

Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

CranioSacral

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve overall health.
